This site is aimed to help you explore i-school. Hopefully it
will provide you with a better idea of i-school and whether you
would be interested in completing a subject in this way.
Ways to learn
The VSS is made up of two ways to help you learn:
The
Virtual Classroom
The
teacher and students connect via phones and
computers
for real-time lessons.
The
Study Room
Students
access online resources and activities to help
them
learn.
Things to consider
There are a number of skills
that you need to develop to help you study and learn in any learning
environment. The skills are particularly important in the i-school
environment. Learning of course is a lot easier if you choose
the right subject.
You may need to talk with teachers and guidance
officers at your school for further help.
Take some time to reflect on your answers to the
following questions:
What
interests you about studying in i-school?
What
interests you about studying the subject you are
considering?
What
questions would you like to ask a student doing a
subject
through i-school?
How
confident are you with using technology to learn?
