The whiteboard is a great way to work on problems or share ideas with other students and the teacher.

Using the whiteboard is very much like using Microsoft Paint or other drawing software. To have a go on the whiteboard click on the link.

Requirements

To open the whiteboard file, the computer you are using will need to have NetMeeting installed.

NetMeeting is a software program that allows you to interact with the teacher and students during a lesson. NetMeeting allows you to do and see things at the same time as everyone else.

If you don't wish to spend the time downloading from here, it is available within the Microsoft CDs provided to schools as part of the Microsoft Agreement. Ask a study coach or teacher at your school which computer has NetMeeting installed.

Whiteboard Instructions

When you click on the "Get the Whiteboard file" link below a window will appear as shown.

When the window appears you need to click on the phrase Open this file from its current location. When you have done that all you need to do is click on the OK button picture button.

This will launch NetMeeting to open the whiteboard file. When the whiteboard opens click on the maximise button Maximize icon in the whiteboard window.

Close the whiteboard window to return here.
