Joomla - Web Content Management System

"Joomla" - Swahili (and Urdu) word meaning "all together" or "as a whole" (Ref: Wikipedia)

This system is a version of the popular open-source CMS Joomla (usually shown as "Joomla!"). It comes pre-configured for school use and includes a wide range of modules and componants (listed below) for publishing information and images. The appearance of a site is highly customisable based on a system of templates.

The initial customisation of these templates for individual schools can be difficult for a user with no html experience, but after this step, it is straightforward for a user (with no programming knowledge) to maintain an interesting and up-to-date site. perForms - Create forms which send visitor submissions to email addresses
