Create a Submit WebLinks button

Objective:

Log into the Admin panel

  1. Open http://yourSiteName.eq.edu.au/wcms/administrator
  2. Log in using your MIS ID.

Create a User Menu - Submit WebLinks button

This will allow you to submit new links to different categories from the front of the website.

  1. Open Menus > Main Menu > New New  (button).

  2. In the Select Menu Item Type panel:

    1. Click on Web Links > Web Link Submission Layout.

    2. Enter a new menu button name Submit WebLinks.

  3. Click SaveSave button.

You now have a new User Menu - Submit WebLinks button on your website.

Test your new website Submit WebLinks button

Now on the front on the website:

  1. Log into the Members Area to view the hidden User Menu. You will see the new Submit WebLinks button.

  2. Click on Submit WebLinks to display the Submit A Web Link page (see below) which will allow you to submit links from the website.
