Create Phoca gallery menu button

Objective:

• Create a new link to the Gallery if the link is disabled.

Log into the Admin panel

1. Log into Joomla as an administrator by going to http://yourschool.eq.edu.au/wcms/administrator

   or by clicking on the Administrator link on the Main Menu.

Create a new link to the Gallery if the link is disabled

1. Open Menus > Main Menu > New (button).

   

2. Select the Phoca Gallery option.

3. Click the Phoca Gallery Category List Layout option.

   • Or else, select the Phoca Gallery Category List Layout option.

   • With this option, use the Select category dropdown box to choose a current Category with images.

   • This menu button will open and display the targeted image gallery directly.

4. Enter Title as Gallery (or Photo Gallery, etc).

   

5. Leave the Display in: as Main Menu (button created on the main menu).

6. Click the Save button (top-right) to create the button on the Main Menu.

   • The new button will be at the end of the Main Menu index.

   • You may need to scroll to the bottom and click the End button.

   • To change where it appears on the menu enter a higher Order number and then click the floppy disk Reset button.

   

Changing the Order will move the button up or down the menu to the desired location.
