Upload Remository files/documents

Before you can upload files you must create a container

Objectives:

• Upload a document to an existing container.
• Create a menu link to your Remository container or document.

1. Log in as administrator

   • Log into Joomla as an administrator by going to:
     http://yourschool.eq.edu.au/wcms/administrator
     or by clicking on the Administrator link in your menu.

   • Open the Remository control panel
     Components > Remository

   

   

   • Select the Manage Files button.
   
   
2. Upload your file

• On the top right, click Add Local.

  

• Enter a name and description for your new file.
• Tick the checkbox Published.
• Under Physical File, browse to the file on your local machine.
• Click Save File.
• Click Control Panel to return to start.
