Removing unwanted pages

Objective:

• Stop unwanted pages from displaying.

When Joomla is first installed, it comes with default pages that may not be required by all schools.

These pages can be removed from view by "unpublishing" the menu item.

1. Log in as administrator

   Log into Joomla as an administrator by going to http://yourschool.eq.edu.au/wcms/administrator or by clicking on the Administrator link in your menu.

   

2. Select to Main Menu or Quick Links (under Menu Manager).

3. Click on the green tick for the item you wish to remove. It will become a red cross.

   

   Note: The item will not be deleted from Joomla and can be easily republished.
