Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Workforce Network

Are you from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background?

Is your first language something other than English or, did your parents come from a non-English speaking background?

Do you have an interest in the issues related to culturally and linguistically diverse people?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions then why not join a pilot network aimed at supporting CALD staff?

The network hopes to attract staff from a CALD background and is being established to provide a forum for discussing issues directly related to workforce management and staffing.

Pilot CALD Workforce Network meetings will be conducted in Brisbane and Gold Coast during August.

These information and planning sessions will provide staff with the opportunity to discuss the aims and direction of their local network.

So whether you from a CALD background, or have a general interest in the diversity of the DET workforce, your input into the establishment and design of these networks will be invaluable
