EEO census

What is the EEO census?

Every new employee who joins the Department is required to fill in an equal employment opportunity (EEO) census form (new window) 167k Microsoft® Word document. Completing this form is very simple and only takes a few minutes.

The form invites employees to identify whether they belong to one or more of the following EEO groups:

The Department is required to collect EEO information under the Equal Opportunity in Public Employment Act 1992.

How to complete an EEO census form

Managers and principals are to provide all new employees with a copy of the EEO census form as part of their commencement package.
