Every new employee who joins the Department is required to fill in an equal employment opportunity (EEO) census form (new window) 167k
. Completing this form is very simple and only takes a few minutes.
The form invites employees to identify whether they belong to one or more of the following EEO groups:
The Department is required to collect EEO information under the Equal Opportunity in Public Employment Act 1992.
Managers and principals are to provide all new employees with a copy of the EEO census form as part of their commencement package.
