Equity Contact Officers

The Department has established a network of male and female Equity Contact Officers throughout the state to manage proactively and provide advice to employees on anti-discrimination issues as well as the Department 's workforce diversity and equity policies, programs and employment frameworks.

Equity Contact Officers are empathetic people who can assist employees to consider the options for dealing with workplace issues, problems and conflicts.

Equity Contact Officers do not provide counselling, mediation or legal advice. They may refer employees to these services if required.
