Teachers from a non-English speaking background play a significant role in motivating and supporting young people and adults to excel in their learning and in developing high aspirations for educational attainment and employment among students, families and communities.
Public sector employees from a non-English speaking background provide expertise in discipline areas such as strategic policy, student support, payroll and human resources, information technology, curriculum, school administration and the day-to-day running of the Department and its relationship with the public.
