2019 Flood assistance package

Did you know you can apply for a flood assistance package to help replace educational resources?

A flood assistance package is available to help students and staff replace essential education resources, as part of Queensland Government's critical disaster funding assistance. The package is designed to support both staff and students who have been impacted by North Queensland's unprecedented flood event.

Through this funding, families of students are able to claim up to $150 per student, and staff members are able to claim up to $1,000.

Online applications will be accepted up until 31 August 2019. After this date parents, carers and school staff will still be able to lodge claims for this important funding, however the applications will be in paper form, and submitted through their school office using the EQ38 form.
