Technology (ITD) teacher pathways program

​Purpose​

To assist schools to support the release of teachers to participate in the technology (ITD) teacher pathways program.

Duration of program

Ongoing from 2022

Eligibility

State schools including campuses where there are participants and/or mentors of the program.

Allocation of funds

Payments made to schools under this program are based on actual costs associated with the program and include:

  • participant attendance at each face to face workshop
  • staff relief (TRS) to allow teachers and school leaders to undertake or facilitate mentoring and coaching.

The program offers 2 pathways:

  • Minimum standards Block 1 Wood work and Block 2 Metal work
  • Certificate II Engineering Pathways.

How to apply

Teachers apply through an expression of interest process for this program. Principals may also nominate an identified teacher. All nominations must be approved by the principal.
