Duration of program
All Queensland state education facilities.
Allocation of funds
Funding is based on teacher replacement costs (TRS).
Each activity is assessed by the Director eLearning in consultation with relevant principals to determine a fair time (TRS days) to complete the project activity. In some cases, it is known how long it will take e.g. writing content, based on past experience.
Payment timelines will depend on when projects and/or professional development are delivered.
At the beginning of each term
Funding is provided for teachers to write content, facilitate PD activities and participate in improvement agendas and programs. School principal's sign a memorandum of understanding that clearly outlines roles and responsibilities, timelines and deliverables. Where these conditions are not met then the funding may be recouped.
How to apply
Schools can apply through periodic Expressions of Interest that are advertised through regions, or individual schools may be approached based on existing expertise.
