State Schools Division is supporting Queensland state school teachers to implement the Australian Curriculum through the development of the
Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) resource, which delivers a comprehensive set of whole-school and classroom planning materials for single level and multi-level classes, students with disability and for students who study through the schools of distance education. A modified set of the C2C materials is also available to Queensland independent and Catholic schools via
Scootle, a password protected website.
Designed as a starting point for school curriculum planning, C2C is essentially a digital resource that can be adopted or adapted to meet individual student learning needs and to suit local school contexts. C2C materials are regularly reviewed and refined to align with changes to the Australian Curriculum and in response to feedback from schools and stakeholders.
State Schools Division and the Queensland College of Teachers have agreed that
continuing professional development (CPD) activities teachers undertake in implementing the Australian Curriculum may qualify as contributing to the total annual CPD requirements for teacher registration.
Curriculum resources boost for Queensland non-state schools
Queensland teachers in independent and Catholic schools who wish to access C2C materials can register at
Scootle using their school email address. Once registered, teachers are able to search and access C2C materials by typing 'C2C' into the search bar. Available materials include whole-school, year level and classroom planning examples and linked resources for the Australian Curriculum learning areas. Schools can adopt or adapt materials to suit individual student learning needs and local contexts.
For further information about accessing the materials, please contact your school principal, sector office or your local diocese.
Information and access for Queensland state schools
