Our students are preparing for a very different future than their parents. To succeed in an interconnected and interdependent world, young people need the skills and understanding to connect with other cultures, both locally and globally. The Department of Education recognises that our students live in a globally connected world and aims to create successful, global citizens.
In support of this goal, Global Opportunities has collaborated with Education Internationale in Quebec, Canada to offer an international opportunity for student exchange.
Chaperoning also provides professional development opportunities for teachers to increase their language proficiency and improve teaching and learning in the classroom.
