Our students are preparing for a very different future. More than ever, young people need to develop the knowledge, skills and understandings to connect and communicate with other cultures locally and globally.
The Department of Education International is supporting our students to become globally competent citizens by collaborating with international partners to offer a range of study tours and programs in
China, Taiwan,
Indonesia and
Japan. These programs focus on broadening the global mindset of our students and, in some programs, expanding their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Guest teacher programs and chaperoning also provides professional development opportunities for language and STEM teachers to increase language proficiency, improve teaching and learning, and bring the world into our classrooms.
