Opportunity overview

Students have an opportunity to win a three week study program at Shigakukan High School in Kagoshima, Japan. Located in the southern tip of Japan, Kagoshima offers an authentic experience in Japanese language and cultural immersion.

Prize details

  • Three-week study tour.
  • The study tour is open to two Queensland students and provides the opportunity for students to be immersed in a different culture and improve language skills.
  • One teacher chaperone will accompany the group to Japan.
  • Accommodation and most meals (homestay).
  • Final itinerary and details will be provided in an information session or workshop which the successful students are required to attend.
  • The teacher chaperone will be required to assist with the tour planning and pre-departure sessions.
  • Students must have prior parent/guardian consent.
