Flagship programs are comprehensive professional learning experiences targeted to key career junctures.
Individual program design is underpinned by professional standards and contemporary research aligned to the department's current and emerging strategic priorities and workforce needs. Flagship programs aim to empower Queensland state school leaders, teachers and staff, and will be co-designed and delivered with internal and external partners, including academic, tertiary and industry leaders.
In 2024, the department is piloting, co-designing and delivering programs for teacher aides, early career teachers, middle leaders and principals at all career stages. The Education Futures Institute's suite of flagship capability offerings will continue to be expanded for a range of roles and career stages.
