SchoolTech Partnership

​​Purpose

To assist schools with allowing students to study for their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) as well as 2 certificate II VET qualifications while at school by expanding or establishing the SchoolTech program at eligible schools.

This initiative is designed to give students the skills needed get a head start in the workplace and for students to develop real world skills by completing work placements and/or securing an apprenticeship or traineeship as part of their high school studies.

Total funding of $3,120,226 has been allocated to this profile. Funding will be distributed to eligible schools over 3 years.

2024 Allocation:

  • Woree State High School—$181,669
  • Tagai State College—$730,481
