Kindergarten: The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is responsible for the Queensland kindergarten learning guideline (QKLG). The QCAA website provides resources and advice for enacting the kindergarten curriculum.
Prep to Year 10: Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is responsible for the
Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum development.
To support Queensland state schools transition to the Prep to Year 10 Australian Curriculum Version 9, systematic curriculum implementation, the development of expert teaching teams and the use of effective pedagogical practices, the department has developed the Curriculum Gateway which provides access to the example curriculum planning and assessment materials.

Years 11 and 12: The
QCAA is responsible for Year 11 and 12 senior secondary syllabus development, assessment, quality assurance and certification.
