Since 2013, 250 schools have commenced as independent public schools in Queensland.

Evaluation of the Independent Public Schools Initiative Report

The Evaluation of the Independent Public Schools Initiative Report 2018 proposes seven recommendations for providing all Queensland state schools greater autonomy to make local decisions about how best to meet the needs of their students.

The report also identifies strengths and areas for improvement across the state schooling system.
