Opportunity overview
The Global Passport—explore the world in 5 days program offers Queensland Years 4–6 state school students an exciting opportunity to virtually 'travel' to new countries from the comfort of their own home.
Participants will connect with experienced university tutors in an engaging online environment, where they will enjoy a fun learning experience over 5 consecutive days. Through interactive lessons and hands-on activities, participants will experience different cultures through interactive activities, basic language learning, and the exploration of diverse topics, including food, art, daily life and cultural traditions to broaden their cultural horizons and develop global competence.
This program not only introduces participants to new cultures, but also equips them with the knowledge, skills and cultural awareness needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
