Opportunity overview
The Beginner Language Experience program offers Queensland Year 4–6 students an exciting opportunity to learn a new language from the comfort of their own home.
Participants will connect with experienced university tutors in an engaging online environment, where they will enjoy a fun learning experience over 5 consecutive days. Students learn together in a small group setting, where interactive lessons and hands-on activities support the development of language skills while broadening their cultural horizons and developing global competence.
This program introduces participants to a new language and its associated culture, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and cultural awareness needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
Languages on offer for the April 2026 school holidays are Japanese and Spanish.
