Opportunity overview

The Osaka Global Teacher Program offers Queensland state school teachers of Japanese language a unique opportunity to participate in an immersive professional development experience at the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai. This 3-week program, conducted entirely in Japanese, requires participants to have an intermediate to high level of Japanese language proficiency (equivalent to Japanese Language Proficiency Test rating of N4 or higher).

Participants will attend lessons at the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai, observe classes at primary and secondary schools, deliver presentations to Japanese school students, obtain authentic teaching resources, and visit Japanese homes and places of cultural significance in the Osaka prefecture.
