Opportunity overview
The Department of Education International, in collaboration with the Iwasaki Sangyo Corporation, is proud to deliver the Iwasaki Sangyo Business Prize—an esteemed, annual award that recognises the commitment of Queensland students in economics and business with a keen interest in Japanese culture.
Each year, outstanding Queensland Year 9 and Year 10 students who study or have a strong interest in economics, business or entrepreneurship are rewarded with a 2-week immersive experience in Japan.
Recipients will have the unique opportunity to enhance their business and language skills, delve into Japan's rich historical and cultural heritage, and forge meaningful connections with local entrepreneurs and leading Japanese organisations.
This prize recognises commitment to economics and business-related learning, and fosters intercultural understanding, helping to cultivate global competence in an increasingly interconnected world.
