Opportunity overview
The Department of Education International, in collaboration with the Consulate General of The People's Republic of China in Brisbane, is proud to deliver the Lotus Creative Arts Prize—an esteemed annual award that recognises the commitment of Queensland students to the Creative Arts.
Each year, Year 9 and Year 10 Creative Arts students are rewarded with a 2-week tour to China. Recipients will have the unique opportunity to enhance their creative arts and language skills, delve into China's rich historical and cultural heritage, and forge meaningful connections with local institutions and communities across the fields of dance, visual arts, drama, media and music.
This prize not only recognises commitment to the Creative Arts, but also fosters intercultural understanding, helping to cultivate global competence in an increasingly interconnected world.
