The following resources are available to help you prepare your child for starting school.

• Continuity of Learning: a resource to support effective transition to school and school age care
  Developed by Educational Transitions Continuity and Change research team at Charles Sturt University this resource explores effective transition practices relevant to children, families, educators and communities as they support transitions to school and school age care.
• Transition to School Position Statement (Charles Sturt University) (PDF, 429KB)
  Developed by a group of national and international transition to school researchers, this position statement is designed to guide the policies and practices of transition to school across Australia.
• Rethinking school readiness — Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH)​
  The CCCH explores the nature of school readiness and pathways to it. It emphasises the importance of schools, services and communities in supporting children and families.
