State primary, secondary and special schools and schools of distance education
Allocation of funds
(Base + student rate x enrolment) x Locality Index/100
Current rates are as follows:
- Base = $1,000
- Student rate = $3.80
Formula exceptions:
- Dalby State High School – Bunya Campus (7362) is excluded as there is a separate funding arrangement with the region.
- Xavier – Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) to receive base payment only.

How to apply
Schools do not need to apply for this funding. Entitlements will be calculated and paid by Finance Branch automatically each year.
