Purpose
To assist identified schools and regions to purchase and maintain specialised equipment available for loan and trial under the program.
This service will support access and participation in schooling and improve educational outcomes for students with disability through the provision of selected equipment to support learning.
This is a statewide and regionalised service, providing a range of specialised equipment available for trial by students with disabilities at school. Access to this service assists schools to plan for educational adjustments and to trial equipment to ensure suitability prior to purchase.

All state schools and non-state schools.
Allocation of funds
An annual fixed budget of $150,000 is distributed to host schools for Statewide Equipment Trial Services.
Allocations are determined by a sliding scale calculated by relative size of student population in each region. Central office distribute funds to regionally nominated host schools. Decisions regarding equipment purchases are made collaboratively between regions and prioritised accordingly.
