Purpose
To assist specific Environmental Education Centres (EEC) to deliver adventurous journeys as part of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Awards program.
Duration of program
2015–2021
Eligibility
Barambah, Camp Fairbairn, Moreton Bay, Numinbah Valley and Stanley River EEC have expressed interest in continuing to participate in this program.
Allocation of funds
Funds are allocated from a budget of $58,500 for the delivery of adventurous journeys under the award program.
Payment details
On renewal of program—negotiated by EEC and State Schools—Operations (SSO) | In the next scheduled monthly payment | Determined by the program scope and remaining budget |
How to apply
The EEC centres listed above will report directly to SSO on the progress of their current program targets. When close to finishing the program, SSO will discuss the potential to continue the program and allocate funding for that purpose. There is no need for an application to be submitted to receive the funding.
