Purpose
To assist fast growth schools to develop and implement information and technologies (ICT).
This is additional funding for selected schools who have experienced rapid growth in student enrolment since the issue of the November School ICT Supplementary payment the previous year.

Allocation of funds
Each year, funds from the annual School ICT Supplementary appropriation are retained for distribution to fast growth schools and schools encountering any extraordinary ICT related funding issues.
The identification of fast growth schools is based on the change in August (previous year) and February (following year) student FTE enrolments where the change exceeds 13%.
The final list of funded schools is determined based on available budget and enrolment growth.
Annually, the number of schools receiving supplementary growth funding has varied between 20 and 38.
