Annual base rates are as follows:
Less than 201m2 $2,200
201–305m2 $2,500
Greater than 305m2 $2,900
Cleaning
Base + cleaning rate × pool area (m2)
Semester rates are as follows:
Base $500
Per square metre of pool size $3.40
Formula exceptions
There are a small number of exceptions to the formula to account for arrangements at individual schools. For example, some schools have an agreement with the local council for the council to undertake pool care.

Schools do not need to apply for this funding. Entitlements will be calculated and paid automatically each year by Finance Branch.
