Purpose
The purpose of the Teacher Relief Scheme (TRS) funding is to provide an opportunity for Queensland state schools to release staff and provide time to undertake professional development and school planning to strengthen the delivery of respectful relationships education (RRE) through the curriculum and a whole school approach to learning and wellbeing.
The delivery of RRE as a whole school primary prevention approach contributes to the prevention of domestic, family and sexual violence.

Please refer to the following table for the amount of TRS days to be allocated to state schools based on school level. TRS will be paid at the Semester 1 rate for the relevant year.

Payment details
How to apply
Schools do not need to apply for the TRS. Entitlements will be automatically calculated and paid to schools.
