Purpose
Showcase is presented annually to celebrate equity and excellence in Queensland state schools and share outstanding practice as we work together to improve the lives of young people.

Eligibility
Participation is open to all Queensland state schools that have significantly enhanced student learning outcomes and have delivered effective evaluation and improvement of school performance. Schools will be identified through a range of processes including:
- school reviews
- school performance data analysis
- regional consultations
- panel discussions.
Allocation of funds
Showcased school—$20,000 per category.
Bursary funds will support leadership teams to document and share their innovative leadership practice with other school communities, or to reinvest into their school improvement initiatives. It may also assist further development of the school program and be used for various purposes, including:
- study leave or support
- research
- conference attendance or presentation
- professional resources
- team building
- staff professional development
- implement a school staff professional learning program.
Payment details
Payments are made after the celebration event in October each year.
