Ongoing
Eligibility
State schools with staff and students selected to attend the STEM Girl Power Camp and additional regional or end of year alumni activities.
Allocation of funds
Funding is provided for teacher replacement and incidentals.
Teacher replacement will be paid in arrears at the current Teacher Replacement Scheme (TRS) rate and will be paid for:
- teachers that attend the STEM Girl Power Camp for supervision purposes–generally in Semester 1 each year
- teachers that attend approved regional activities or end of year alumni activities.
Incidentals will be paid for additional costs associated with teacher or student travel from remote areas or for coordination of activities, such as booking locations, speakers, materials, catering or other costs.
