This program will provide funding to schools who have an elected Health and Safety Representative (HSR) who is classified as Teacher, Head of Program or School Leader. The funding is up to four (4) days Teacher Relief Scheme (TRS) and is for the purpose of attending formal training courses and/or to fulfil elements of their role.
Duration of program
State Schools who have been identified as having at least one HSR classified as a Teacher, Head of Program or School Leader (Teacher HSR).
One TRS payment will be paid per school that has recorded an elected Teacher HSR and payment will only be made once per year, regardless if there are multiple Teacher HSRs at a school.
Allocation of funds
TRS funding for up to 4 days is provided per location (per school) for Teacher HSRs. Schools can utilise the 4 days of TRS funding to facilitate formal training for elected Teacher HSRs and/or to fulfil elements of their role e.g. one (1) day per term to attend a network meeting/gain professional development for their role.

How to apply
Schools do not need to apply for this funding. Entitlements will be calculated and paid automatically by Finance Branch.
