The
Parent and Community Code of Conduct describes the ways in which parents, carers and visitors should conduct themselves while on Queensland state school grounds, at school activities, and when interacting with others in the school community.
It sits alongside the
Student Code of Conduct and the
Queensland Public Service Code of Conduct (for staff).
The code of conduct was created to support the department's
Principal Health and Wellbeing Strategy and to ensure school environments are
positive and respectful.
Ask your school if they have a Parent and Community Code of Conduct, and view the Parent and Community Code of Conduct poster.
