To recognise students, teachers, STEM support officers, schools, leaders, volunteers, mentors and organisations that have made outstanding and innovative contributions to STEM education in Queensland.

Allocation of funds
Awards under this program are $5,000 each.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s ceremony will be held online on 11 September 2020. Most award recipients will receive their award moneys on the ceremony day. State school teachers, support officers and schools will receive a SAPA payment in August.
Some schools may receive payment for teacher replacement (TRS) for teachers participating in panels to assess award applications.
