Each year, every Queensland school is required to publish a school annual report for the previous calendar year on the school’s website by 30 June.
The
Annual Reporting Policy sets out mandatory reporting requirements for all Queensland schools and suggests additional information that may be of interest to parents and the community.
Following the release of the Next Step report, schools with Year 12 completers, publish post-school destinations by 30 September of each year.
Schools arrange to provide the information on request to a parent/caregiver or a person who is responsible for a student at the school and is unable to access the internet.
In reporting information, principals should be aware of
privacy and data interpretation issues.
To assist state schools to meet the mandatory publishing deadline of 30 June:
- all state schools are provided with a pre-populated state school annual report template that can be immediately uploaded to their websites
- all state school annual reports must be
uploaded at least 1 week prior to the end of Term 2 to enable any issues to be resolved before the school holidays.
