How schools can engage with the QVA
Schools engage with the QVA as a recipient of services for their students and teachers (recipient school) and/or a partner in the delivery of services (partner school).
The process for accessing QVA services involves 4 phases.
- Understand
- Consider
- Engage
- Participate
The 4 phases enable schools to understand and explore the QVA in order to access the most suitable service to meet their needs and local context.
All schools use the 4-phase process regardless of which QVA service they wish to participate in. This ensures both the QVA and school have the opportunity to fully consider the options and requirements, along with the capacity of the QVA to meet the needs of the school.
Schools need to consider the opportunities and implications of participating in the QVA. Appropriate internal and external consultation should be undertaken to determine how their involvement with the QVA can address specific curriculum and student learning needs.
For more information and to submit an expression of interest, departmental staff can search 'QVA' on OnePortal.
