Subscribe to Queensland school holidays iCalendar.

How to subscribe to iCalendar updates

If you only download the link and do not subscribe, you will not receive iCalendar updates. To ensure you receive updates on Apple devices, sync your device with your iTunes to migrate the calendar across devices. To ensure you receive updates on Android devices, sync your device with your Google account to migrate the calendar across devices.

For Apple and Mac devices (IOS)

• Open <Settings> on the iDevice
  
• Select <Mail, Contacts, Calendars>
• You will need to add a new account
• Select <Add Account>
• Select <Other> at the bottom of the list
• Select <Add Subscribed Calendar>
• Copy and paste the URL
  http://education.qld.gov.au/about/Documents/qld-school-holidays.ics
• Select <Next>
• Select <Save>

For Android devices

• Open up and log into your personal Google account at http://www.google.com/calendar External link
• On the left hand side of the page select <Other Calendars> and select the drop down arrow
• Select <Add by URL>
• Copy and paste the URL
  http://education.qld.gov.au/about/Documents/qld-school-holidays.ics
• Select <Add Calendar>

To rename the calendar

• Roll the cursor over the calendar you want to rename
• Select the drop down arrow
• Select <Calendar Settings>
• Rename calendar in Calendar name text box
• Once done select <Save>

For Windows desktop

• Open Microsoft Outlook calendar
• Select <File, Info>
• Select <Account Settings>
• Select the <Internet Calendars> tab
• Select <New>
• Copy and paste the URL
  http://education.qld.gov.au/about/Documents/qld-school-holidays.ics
• In the pop up window, rename the calendar as desired
• Select <Add> and <OK>
• Select <Close>

For Apple/Mac desktop

• Copy and paste the URL
  http://education.qld.gov.au/about/Documents/qld-school-holidays.ics
• Calendar automatically downloads to iCalendar
• Select <Destination> from drop down box
