Opportunity overview
The STEM Taiwan Global Student Program is a unique international learning opportunity for high-performing Year 10 students who are currently studying Chinese and who have a strong interest in continuing their language and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subject(s) in senior years. The successful applicants will travel to New Taipei City, Taiwan during the summer school holidays (usually in December) to experience Taiwanese school life, enhance their Chinese language proficiency, visit places of cultural and historical significance and to engage in industry visits where they will see real life examples of STEM applications.
This program targets students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience another culture in an international environment.
