Our students are preparing for a very different future. More than ever, young people need to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to connect and communicate with other cultures, both locally and globally.
The Department of Education International is supporting our students to become globally competent citizens by collaborating with international partners to offer a range of immersive programs in
China, Taiwan,
Indonesia and
Japan. These programs focus on broadening the global mindset of our students and, in some programs, expanding their knowledge of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Guest teacher programs and chaperoning also provide professional development opportunities for teachers to increase language proficiency, improve teaching and learning, and bring the world into our classrooms.
