In 2026, Queensland Home Education (QHE) set up 2 consultative groups of parents, organisations and QHE to regularly discuss processes, policy and services. These ongoing conversations help to inform home education practice in a way that recognises and responds to the experiences of families and sector insights.
The groups have a shared vision to ensure every home-educated child and home-educating family and community in Queensland is engaged, supported and thriving.
