Supporting our students, including students with disability, to engage in education is essential for our young people to thrive and to realise their potential.
Professional learning will give teachers practical skills to confidently manage diverse classrooms, support individual learning needs and maintain strong academic standards. Students with disability represent more than 25% of all students in Queensland state schools. Building the confidence and capability of teachers to deliver high-quality education to students with disability will contribute to lifting outcomes for students and performance across the sector.
