STEM Girl Power Initiative.
Purpose
To assist schools with the cost of teachers and students attending the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Girl Power Alumni Event.

Eligibility
State Schools with teachers and students that have previously attended the STEM Girl Power camp.
Allocation of funds
Funding for the following is available under this program:
Teacher replacement—will be paid in arrears at the current Teacher Replacement Scheme (TRS) rate and will be paid for teachers that attend the STEM Girl Power Alumni Event.
Travel costs—will be paid for costs associated with teacher or student travel and accommodation to attend the STEM Girl Power Alumni Event. These amounts must have been met by the schools and will be paid in arrears based on actual costs supported by documentation.
Incidentals—will be paid for additional costs associated with participating in the STEM Girl Power Alumni Event and may include forum coordination, speakers, materials, catering and other costs. These amounts must have been met by the schools and will be paid in arrears based on actual costs supported by documentation.

How to apply
State Schools do not need to apply for this funding. Schools that require TRS for their teachers to attend will be paid upon confirmation of teacher attendance.
Travel and incidental costs will be paid to schools once a claim has been submitted. Only costs that have been met by the school can be included in a claim.
