Purpose
To assist schools with the cost associated with teachers and students being involved in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Girl Power Camp.

Eligibility
State Schools with staff and students selected to attend the STEM Girl Power Camp.
Allocation of funds
Funding is provided for teacher replacement and incidentals.
Teacher replacement—will be paid in arrears at the current Teacher Replacement Scheme (TRS) rate and will be paid for:
- teachers that are selection panel members attending panel meetings to review and select applicants—generally in November each year
- teachers that attend the STEM Girl Power Camp for supervision purposes—generally in Semester 1 each year, however, due to COVID management planning, camp will be from 17–21 May 2021.
Incidentals—will be paid for additional costs associated with teacher or student travel from remote areas. Will be paid in arrears based on actual costs supported by documentation.

How to apply
State schools need to apply each year to participate in the program. Once selected, schools will become eligible for payments and will be contacted by the program owner.
