Purpose
To assist schools with increasing student activity, participation in sports or active engagement in learning (HPE).

Eligibility
State schools, non-state schools, special schools, schools of distance education, outdoor and environmental education facilities.
Allocation of funds
This program has a budget of $7 million.
Schools will register their interest on the registration of interest form, detailing purpose of equipment grant request.
An application needs to be made by the principal, with agreement to promote the fund, by 31 March 2023.
Funding is supplied based on the following criteria:
- schools 2021 Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) equal to or below 992, up to $5,000
- schools 2021 ICSEA above 992 up to and including 1,041, up to $3,000
- schools 2021 ICSEA above 1,041, up to $500.
If oversubscribed, funding will be allocated to lowest ICSEA schools first.
