Hospital Kindy

​​​​​​Purpose

The purpose of the hospital kindy program is to provide children at the Queensland Children's Hospital (QCH) or Mater Children's Private Hospital Brisbane with access to kindergarten sessions delivered by an early childhood teacher. The hospital kindy program also offers children visiting the hospitals, living in nearby hospital accommodation services,​​​​ with playgroup sessions delivered by a teacher.

Queensland Children’s Hospital School (QCH School)

Allocation of funds

Funding to be allocated on agreement. QCH School will use the funding to support operational costs associated with delivering hospital kindy, including purchasing of educational resources and materials.

Payment details

Payment will be made in November 2021 for the 2022 school year.

How to apply

There is no application required for this funding. Payment will be made automatically to the QCH School.

No other school is eligible to receive funding under this program.
